First off… Jess and I now officially live together. That’s the deal. There will be more post about that in the future. That’s a fact. We’ve had a Thanksgiving and a Christmas and a New Years and a Ben moving ever f’n thing in the apartment while Jess is totally sick weekend extravaganza. That is truth. I promise at some point I will get to that and I will post pics and all will be glorisou. Tonight is all about Heroes though.
Listen to me when I tell you this. This week’s episode of Heroes is the reason I LOVE this show. First off they brought back Adam. I know he really only had like 1 power and that was talking British and healing, but he was still pretty awesome. I mean it took Peter’s dad sucking the life out of him to kill his ass. But that’s another sotryt. He came back and was in this trial type dealy with Hiro and Hiro’s dad and Hiro’s frind Ando and a bunch of other people. I swear it wasn’t the rum talkinb but the cinamatogrophy in these scenes was just like a little better than the rest of the show. I mean, it wasn’t like watching Avatar in IMAX but still. It was pretty damn good. To top that off Sylar totally made out with Clair. That’s gross, so I’ll go back to Hiro.I really just did like that whole story line about him being on trial. It was kind of a cop out, but what ever. That’s what makes the show awese.
The story with Sylar and Clair was a bit weak, but there’s really only so much you can do with a lesbian cheerleader, a chick with no powers, and a dude with every power in the world in cluding poers he forgot he had (liek the mechanic lady he killed that could hear anything). This story only served to progress the lovefest of Clair and what’shernuts. Either way it was decent, but still enjoyable.
The story of Samnuts and chick was passable. I almost felt like they threw that in there just to get Sam to be a bad guy again. He was getting to be kind of a P word. I mean he was all like “hey you, come be a carney and if you want to leave that’s cool, lemme make you some pancakes and have my tattoo chick lick all up on you.” That was really the only thing he did in the show. But now that he’s pissed I’m sure that he’ll bring dowm some more jail houses and/or magically appear in random placaces with out the ability to jump through time like F’n Hiro!!
So where were all the other characters? Petere is off with sound chick and/or flying around with his ability to fly. Mom Patrelli is off scowling at people and predicting 10 mins into the future. Matt is off being Matt and not doing a damn thing except for that stupid face he does. And the rest of the cast is just kinda fartin’ around while Hiro and Adam do battle to the death in some light filled tunnel. I kinda hope we see Adam again, but seeing as he’s died, yet again, I don’t think we will. Fail on the writers part.
So that’s my story of the night. I’m writing about Heroes and not about the funtastic time Jess and Chase and I have had over the past few months. Not about how I am in love with the most amazing woman in the world. Not about how I am happier than I have ever been in my life or how I have some amazing friends. This post is not about the dramatic changes internaly that I’ve gone through over the past year or how people that I once thought I would never be able to hang out with, spent the night at our place on New Years. I’m not here writing about friends lost and friends gained over the past 14 months. Nope, this post is about Heroes. Stay tuned for all that other nonsense.
So first off…I’m drunk. Secnond off…I’m drunnk. her’s hte deal. I really don’t have a whole lot of clue what’s going on right now other than the fact ahtn I am aising at my computer watching me try to type wrds. so ar I think it’s working out well. So reall;y, I don’t have a lot to sayother than what has already been stated.
Oh, I will state the fact that as of a fe days ago, I have been divorced for about 2 months. That’s like A long time. Thinking the way I am to the school people I am younger. That’s makew sense because it’s kinda tha thing that I do.
In other news I am pretty much asleep right now and amd just typng off onf instinct. This is kinda what I do but that’s ok. I feel like I will make dome words that make sens, but I’m really not sure abut hat. Jess is sistting besie me and she’s writting a bpost about something on www.sniperbear.net, but I really have no idea what it is. I’m sure she’s looking at me like I’m a freakin’ lunatic, but i’m sure that’s just a game.
So today was kinda like off the hook cause we really didn’t do a whole lot. After we both got up and got “ready” it was tie for our run. We decided to go for the loop rather than the out and back. The loop was actually pretty god sense it tok us through a subdivison. There were kids out plaig ball with the dad and vitually no traffic at all. It was a fatastic day to run. The weather was rfect and I could not have asked or a better person to run with. Didn I mention that i’ve been as;eep for about 5 minutes now? I don’t knwo the las time I opened my eyes. I can kinda feel Jess watching me over there, but at the smee tiem, I just wat to finsh this.
Wait, where was I? I think I was talking about the run I/ we had. So it was pretty epic in the sens that we pushed through it. After the run it took us a bit to get ready. Jess farted around on FB, while I look ed froa olace to eat. I honestly have no clue what jsut fot said.
I’m faily confident that this doesn’t mae sense, but what ever, it’s all in my drunk brain. that’s typically haow these things rolll. Oh wel. You guys take it easy
So I have to say that this past weekend was exactly as it should be. Well, there are a few things I would have changed, but for the most part it was every thing that I could have imagined that a 30th birthday weekend cabin trip could’ve been. Read more…
Today, I turn 30. Did I accomplish everything I set out to in the past year? Nah, not really. Instead, I accomplished WAY more than I ever thought I could. I went through a divorce, fell in love, fell out of love, then found love. I had many adventures, met a ton of new friends and lived more than I had in the previous 28 years. My 30th birthday doesn’t mean that I’m going to be needing a walker any time soon. I’m not going to keel over and die, simply because it’s 12:03 and I’m 30 years old. I will mark this as the day I start to live more.

It was perfect! I couldn’t have thought of a better way to spend the last evening of being 29. So here’s to all the friends of mine that are already 30 and here’s to the one’s that’ll be 30 before they know it. Thirty’s just a number, a number I’m proud to associate with.
So I have to say that this season came back pretty dang fierce! I maean maybe I’vfe only watched once episode and MAYBE i’ve on;y fishedhs off a quarter bottle of vodka AND whisky, but damn, this show is funny. i’d call city hall to keep it on thei air.

So I was watching heroes after wacthing the rest of the vodika I was drinking tonight and then I decideed to finish the rest of my burbn. While i was watching Jeroes I watched Man Vs. Vood. But it was only afer I finished the showt ahtI watched the MvF. That’s the orer that it went in. “Cake mix and Swiss Filled Chocolate.” “After the Whipp filled Avalanche” No idea whats up with that. So let’s get back to heroes!
Here’es is my Jam! I watched it tonight and I have to say that Episode 3 of the 4th sesaon is rockin’ thatshiz like my jam! Like it started off kinda weak this season but then it went to money butter. This seaon thay added this whole new carnie crew that is like a necessary addition to the rosther. like the main carnie guy is kinda aweomse but then he’s not but then he kinda is… but not soe much. i’d rahte r see knife guy knife up some shit but he’s all just angry and stuff. then you have bennett and he’s kind of a puss. what’s up with that. i mean dude had his face shot off in one of the previous seaons and used his “daughters” blood to bing him back to life. that’s kind alike hard core monkey bones. so then you have mind reader guy… um.. the guy that does that squinty mind face reeady thing. he’s kinda getting on my nerves cause i wish he’d team up wiht sylar who is in his face. i mean they could be like simon and simon. that was a bad ass team. i mean, it’s not like they are hanible, face, BA, murdok, and (was there a 5th a-teamer?) who wknos’. all i’m saying is mind guy should be a bit less winy and a bit more mindy. so you have claire and she’s all gonna make out with that gretchen chick next episode, but that doesn’t discount the fact that she was in her undies LAST epised! what’s up with that?! who knows. so yeah. heroes is my jam. peter is like “yeah, i dunno. i’m just gonna take it easy and save a bunch of lives and get more powers and show up and bennet’s house and peace out bitches!” and nathan’s all “whoa! i know kung fu” and then his mom is like “wait, you told that trick you killed her daughter?!” “nah, that ain’t me, i got this.” then millie was all “BUSS A CAP IN HIS ASS!!!” which that guy did until nathan was all night of the living dead and rollin’ up out the dirt.
so yeah heroes is the jam. i can’t wait to see next week when more heoring happens and more stuff nearly explodes. oh and when the next episode of heores rolls around i will be nearly 30 years old. sean and bryan will already be bag of bones, but i won’t…yet. never fear though. Jessica Canning (the love of my life) is working on some plans. FYI, i love that woman!

It’s been a few months since I last wrote anything here. In all honesty I’ve had a lot going on and finding the time to sit and write, just didn’t come easy.
So here’s a quick rundown of what all I’ve had going on. Since my last real post, I’ve sold my house, I’ve got a new job, I’ve ended a relationship (one that many of my friends had no idea I was even in), and I’ve been to my first pro football game.
I originally had this big post to talk about my San Fran trip, but really it wasn’t all that much to write home about. The main reason I was out there was for the Gilbane CMS conference. I was to be a speaker and…I spoke. It didn’t go over as well as I had anticipated, but I got the message across and got a good bit of questions and a great reception. There was some good feedback from the company I was there speaking with and I think there are a lot of opportunities opening up as a result of the past week. I’m looking forward to a good partnership between AutoTrader.com and Percussion. We’ll just have to see how things pan out over the next week or so.
Other than that San Fran was a lot of walking for me. I went and saw the Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard Street and I got to see Alcatraz from a distance, but that was really it. I want to go back out there for a vacation and really take in a lot of the sights and see what else the city has to offer. The weather was great, the food was fantastic and I had a good time, but I want to experience it when I don’t have 3 days of conferencing to attend to and a presentation to prepare.
So there’s my San Fran summary. Nothing major, but it definitely made me want to go back. I’m sure I’ll be back soon enough. I think it would be fun with a group of people. Who’s going with me?
